With myriad issues to keep track of and multiple bills coming up for votes every day of the session, it is a nearly impossible task for a legislator to personally research everything. Here are 3 things you can do to help your legislator stay informed on issues that are important to you.
Often, getting more than five emails or letters on a specific issue is very significant to your legislator. You need to be proactive – the other side is! Writing your legislator can give them the ammunition they need to encourage other legislators. It might even sway their vote!
